The Director establishes and carries out Crawl Space’s Strategic Plan through fiscal management and program development as the gallery evolves into an Artist-Run Center. The Director implements programs created by the Artist Board along with her/his own curatorial projects, and manages Crawl Space personnel including Organizational Members and Interns. She/He will build our capacity to expand financial support to the center’s exhibiting artists and curators and will boost community involvement through new artistic endeavors.

Artist Board is committed first and foremost to actively developing and exhibiting their own artwork. As the curatorial force of the gallery, they review proposals and submissions, plan the gallery’s exhibition schedule and take on curatorial projects. As a group of influential regional artists, they invest in each other’s work through studio visits and develop new programs to challenge their peers throughout the country.
