A two-part exhibit focused on the current studio practice of the artists who run Crawl Space
Crawl Space is pleased to present Current Works, a two-part exhibit that gives a glimpse of the new directions and explorations in the current studio practice of its member artists. This rotating exhibition accompanies the inaugural round of studio visits between the artists as a period of intensive art making at the end of the current year.
BRADLEY BIANCARDI explores the physicality and psychological impact of architectural spaces through their rendering and re-rendering in drawing and painting
DIANA FALCHUK examines age and preservation through installations in public spaces and a variety of smaller mixed media works
ANNE MATHERN considers the dynamics of interpersonal and intrapersonal understanding through work in photography, video and sound
ORI ORNSTEIN pursues the psychological impact of moving and commercial imagery through refined oil painting
CHAD WENTZEL explores ideas of perfection and grandeur through large-scale installations and flat works in paper
JASON WOOD examines the history of material and personal history through his sculptural works in wood
