| A native of Chicago and product of the union between a carpenter father and an artist mother, Jason Wood was intrigued early on by the contrast of Chicago's hyper-urban environment with the nature that surrounds her. Earning his BFA in painting from the University of Indiana, Jason Wood relocated to Seattle where he earned his MFA from the University of Washington in 2004. His first memory is that of a childhood trip to a lumberjack festival. |  click image for detail |
